Welcome to Croft Farm. We hope the information below will be useful and provide most of what you need to know to make your stay safe, comfortable and enjoyable.
Essential Information
- Arrival time may be any time after mid-day.
- On arrival please check notices on site to make sure that you pitch up on the correct field (there is an ‘overflow’ site in addition to the main CL). You will have been made aware of any bookings that have been made for you on to the overflow site.
- Pitch up on arrival and pay at some point during your stay.
- The nightly fee for 2020 is £14 which includes EHU. This will increase to £15 for year 2021. Envelopes are provided which give instructions on how and where to pay. Payment may be by on-line transfer, cash or cheque. We normally only request a deposit where more that 2 vans or motorhomes book in together for several nights.
- Please request details for on-line transfer, if you wish to use this method from home before your arrival.
- Pitches should be vacated by mid-day on the day of departure.
Nearest GARAGE & Shop
Church Garage is 5 mins walk away at the top of Gromford Lane. As well as fuel and a car wash, it has a well stock convenience store.

The Golden Key is in the centre of the village, serving lunch and dinner – 01728 688 510

Nearest SUPERMARKET
Saxmundham (10 min drive) has Tesco and Waitrose stores.
Aldeburgh (10 min drive) has a Co-op Supermarket and Tesco Express as you approach the town on the A1094.
FARM SHOP
Friday Street Farm is located on the A1094, close to the junction with the A12.
As well as fresh local produce, there is an excellent butcher’s counter and well stocked gift shop.
Take Away Food
Aldeburgh, Saxmundham and Leiston all have a range of Chinese, Indian and fish and chip shops. Most are collection only.
Aldeburgh Fish & Chips and the Yuan Feng Chinese in Leiston come highly recommended.
Shopping
Aldeburgh’s high street offers a range of upmarket shops including Fat Face, Crew, L’Occitane and an Adnams Store.
Woodbridge (20 mins drive) has a Boots, WH Smith, Holland & Barrett, Caffe Nero and Costa.
